We're a fast-growing product company building an AI-powered platform used by thousands of teams every day. We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to own critical services end-to-end — from design to production — and help us scale to the next order of magnitude. You'll join a small, senior team where your decisions have real impact.

Tasks

• Design, build and operate scalable backend services (Python / FastAPI) and REST APIs.
• Model and optimize PostgreSQL schemas; write efficient async queries.
• Own services end-to-end: architecture, implementation, testing, deployment and monitoring.
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal microservices behind a gateway.
• Improve reliability, performance and security under high concurrency.
• Collaborate with product and frontend to ship features that matter.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and raise the bar on code quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years building production backend systems in Python.
• Strong experience with FastAPI (or Flask/Django) and async programming.
• Solid PostgreSQL

• Experience designing and scaling REST APIs and microservices.
• Comfortable with Docker, CI/CD and cloud (AWS preferred).
• Good understanding of auth (JWT/OAuth), caching and message queues.
